Rose Sundress

I got this beautiful little baby the other day as part of my uniform for work! I couldn't resist the lovely pink rose floral pattern all over the dress. It fits so perfectly well on the waist & even though it's not summer yet, i shall wear it already to keep me in a good mood.

I have become more obsessed with dresses lately, the past few months i have purchased a new one each week!

Creep me.

This is what i wore to work on Saturday. Usually when i wear this dress i make it quite girly so this time i thought i would go the opposite with my oversized denim jacket & my darling creepers. I can't explain why i love this denim jacket so much, many look at it with slight concern but i think the floral embroidery makes it so quirky!

As you may or may not know i am forever a lover of vintage especially from the 1940's & 1950's but i have become slightly fascinated with the 1980s & of course the 90s over the past few weeks. I love the curly big hair, denim & bright bold knitwear!

This is my newest face. I have been wearing less make up for college & my skin has never looked better in my opinion. Lately i have also decided to have less eye make up & instead have some popping colour on the lips. :)

At the weekend i think i'm also finally going to get rid of my dip dye..sick of the sight of it now!

Here is my latest lookbook. I have also been obsessed with all things sparkly & glittery. The jacket & shirt are both from charity shops, i swear charity shops are the best place to build up a substantial glitter shiny collection of clothing & accessories.

Here i'm also wearing my favourite hair style at the moment, i have been wearing my hair like this for a good few months & my sister always used to mock me for it but around lcf it's seeming like a popular hairstyle...maybe they have caught on ;). I just how it can show a good amount of face but with enough hair to preen at the same time!

Barbie Girl.

Hello Hello. I have been going lookbook crazy this week as i have had the spare time. Here above is my fabulous Barbie Tshirt that was from Topshop a couple of years ago. I actually adore anything that has barbie on it..i don't know why. My inner child i guess.

Then here is a fabulous Nautical Jumper that i found at a Jumble Sale for 10p. Amazinggg. Jumble Sales can be fabulous.

Anyway i hope everyone is having a good evening. I have to work over the weekend but shall be having a drink or two & a boogie tomorrow night! I hope to take some photographs of whatever dress i shall be wearing.

Last year

This was me around the near end of June last year. Me & Anne were waiting to go & see The Drums at Cambridge Junction. This was my first outing with that bag & my first Tapestry Bag (charity shop of course).

Polka Dot Princess.

I have blogged about this dress before when i first got it but i just love it too much. I haven't had a chance to wear it yet still so i thought i would do a lookbook. I always feel very much fairy princessy when i wear it so with my second photo i thought i would toughen it up abit with a Jacket that i happened to find! This jacket i found in a vintage section in a Charity Shop for £5 , i especially love the studs on the collars & pockets. The Sunglasses i also have there are new & happen to be RayBan which i luckily happened to find ;).

A little bold.

I have had this shirt for a while now & never wore it so today seemed the perfect day to wear it,as the sun was shining! It's very eye catching which obviously i like & looks very 80's/retro. I also have warmed to the idea of having a bun on top of my head in this hot weather so yes this was my outfit to i wore walking to the gym of course..i hate underdressing for any occasion!

Before my gym session today i had a quick look in h&m & i just love that shop so much! I ended up buying a beautiful white strapless pleated dress which reminds me of the legendary dress that Marilyn Monroe wore in the 7 year itch,I'm just in love with it & shall blog it later. I can't wait to have some lovely photo's taken in it when i wear it to a wedding at the end of the month!

Coral.

This lovely Coral Dress is from Topshop & i love it! It's available in many colours & fits pretty nicely. I wanted another in white to look a little Grecian Goddessy but none available in my size..nevermind! As it's July,hopefully the weather will stay beautiful so i can show off more of my Dresses! x

Space Top.

It has been such a hot day today so i got the chance to go to the seaside. There are a load of really good charity shops where i go to the beach but i only checked out a couple today. I happened to get hold of this amazing top,i just love it. Plus it was just £1.49.

More new clothes.

I have not been able to stop myself from buying clothes this month, i have just seen so much that i like! One of my favourite items that i have purchased is my Pink Polka Dot Dress above, i feel like an utter Princess in it. When i put it on i feel like my inner child self comes out as it feels quite 'dress up' with the puffy petticoat underneath. As it goes with the 'pink theme' for my Aunties Wedding i will probably wear this dress. Now i just need to find some perfect heels to wear on the day!

Here is also my latest post from lookbook above. The shirt i won on eBay. I don't know why i decided to bid for it apart from the fact that i find it amazing,i just own so many floral shirts. I need to stop myself yet the colours in this one are just amazing. I guess kind of garish,this will defiantly stand out in a crowd.

Cookie Monster.

Those are my favourite shoes that i have never worn out because i have never found an occasion,yet they do look very beautiful on display in my room. This is my most recent lookbook with the wonderful Cookie Monster. I'm currently obsessed with character tshirts & they do seem ever so popular on lookbook for example my Minnie mouse tshirt,is my most popular look to date with now over 900+ hype. Minnie did me proud. To add to the collection i won this really cool Retro Cat Tshirt on eBay,i'm so excited for it to arrive.Plus i have been craving a cat top for months. Has anybody else got a favourite character tshirt they adore? I just now need a Barbie one to finish the collection.

I have had such a quiet week these past few days as i have been ill & not able to go out of the house much! I thought it would be a joy to sit in & to watch a dozen old films but i have watched 0.

Flower Girl.

Flower girl. I was feeling slightly summery & last night i happened to find my flower head-dress which i purchased in Camden last summer! This year i have seen so many headbands like this all over the High Street,Topshop happen to have many with even butterflies on them! The one i own though only cost me £2.50 off a little stall in Camden & hand made of course. I wanted this outfit here to look quite romantic so I'm wearing a lace body which is Vintage & i adore it. It looks almost Wedding like with the top detailing. On bottom I'm just wearing some floral culottes from River Island last year which i think are really cute & so easy to wear!

Kimono Jacket.

Kimono Jacket from Topshop £42. I really love it. I think Kimono's are great for summer,they can easily be worn over anything. This one is super lightweight & airy. It's perfect.

Pleated Skirt!

I'm very sorry i have done many updates or a new lookbook lately but i now have! Today me & my friend Anne went & done a little charity shopping..sadly we didn't find much but i managed to find a pleated midi skirt in my size. I just love the colour of it & it's such a perfect length. Even though I'm short,I'm very much loving maxi skirts & dresses at the moment as they are so easily to wear plus everyone seems to like me in them.

Hopefully throughout the week i will be doing some more looks as I've got some beautiful pieces from work i want to show off. :)

A little '80's'

My sister just took these quick photo's of me last week, as we were both rifling through my wardrobe creating new outfits. Amazingly i found a Glittery Jacket & Shirt Dress which i found left in a bag! I've realised i've had this Jacket for almost 2 years & not worn it since,it is really glittery but you can't really see in the photograph! The 'dress' is actually a very large shirt that i once found in a Charity Shop & i just teamed it with some heels (which i have also never worn) & they are from Miss Selfridge. I love the electric blue colour & the studs on the shoes.

Bright.

This is my favourite floral top i think. I found it a couple of weeks ago & it stood out because of the amazing colours so now it looks good on & fabulous in my wardrobe. Plus it cost only £1 how fabby. I've popped this photo on lookbook as i had neglected my lookbook for a few weeks. I also around four or maybe five new looks on there at the moment.

My clothes may not be designer & my photo's are certainly not professional..i'm just a girl who wants to show my love for vintage & that you don't need to spend terrible amounts of money on clothes to feel & look good. :) (hopefully some people will think that anyway..) x

BARBIE.

This is my Barbie top. It actually comes with a pair of dead sexy pink shorts because it's actually a bedtime top.

Yet i still think that Barbie should be shown off in all her glory. This reminds me that i have a fabulous Barbie book that i must show. I know i will be 20 years of age this year but Barbie is a babe. x

Clash.

Checked out this Vintage Sewing Machine which is still working for £30. It's so gorgeous but i just don't know if i will make any use of it. (Yet it would look great it my room). I love the wonders of what you can find in Charity Shops!

I then found this lovely little skirt also from a Charity Shop. I had wanted a floral sort of flippy skirt for a while now for summertime. I decided to clash my outfit a little & piece the skirt with a polka dot shirt. :)

Minnie Mouse.

It's been a while since I've updated my lookbook & so i thought I'd try today! As the weather has been absolutely beautiful at the moment where i live,I've been able to wear my Vintage Levi's! I popped on my Minnie Mouse top that i adore & thought it needed to be shared. :)

The sunglasses are a current favourite of mine which are from Primark for £2 which are exactly identical to the ones i see at work (topshop) for £16 so you know where to go if you want a copycat pair... I try not to spend too much money on sunglasses because i always lose them or they just break!
